“I was inspired by the night sky I would look up at from my Nonno’s cottage, where the stars felt impossibly bright and beautiful. It was there that I experienced the night sky truly alive, far away from the bustling lights of society.

Growing up, one of my first dream careers, was actually to be an astronomer in the fifth grade. I was fascinated by space and always found nebulae incredibly beautiful. What intrigued me most was the idea that humans are, in a way, made of stardust. The same supernovas responsible for creating many of the elements in the periodic table also created the elements that make up the human body.

The thought that nearly every atom within us was forged inside stars before scattering across the universe and eventually becoming part of a person is one of the most beautiful ways to think about life and our connection to the universe. That concept stayed with me and became the inspiration behind this collection, a collection that encapsulates our beauty in its rawest, most cosmic form.”
